Hi, I’m Nitika, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience helping teens, adults, and families navigate life’s messy, beautiful moments. I believe healing happens in safe, soulful spaces where you can be fully seen, heard, and never judged. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, wrapped in compassion and a touch of humor, to support healing and growth. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a safe space to breathe and be, I’m here to walk alongside you. Therapy with me is honest, warm, and human because you deserve support that truly sees you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and laying the foundation for a supportive therapeutic relationship. You can expect a welcoming space where you can speak freely and feel heard without judgment., an overview of the therapy process, including confidentiality, session structure, and what you can expect moving forward, a chance to share your story and what brings you to therapy, what challenges you're facing, and what goals or changes you're hoping to achieve. You should also expect questions to help me understand your background, current concerns, and any relevant history that may inform our work together. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. Just come as you are. My goal is to make you feel safe, supported, and empowered to begin your journey toward healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a deep sense of compassion and genuine concern to every session, meeting each client exactly where they are with warmth, respect, and without judgment. I believe in the healing power of being truly seen and heard. I also value honesty and realism. I won’t promise quick fixes, but I will walk with you through the hard parts, helping you face challenges with clarity and courage. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it can be profoundly transformative. And yes, there’s room for humor here too. I believe laughter can be a powerful part of healing. Sometimes, a shared smile or light moment can open the door to deeper connection and insight.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.

I used to put off going to therapy because I was honestly scared I’d end up with someone I didn’t connect with. But meeting her was the best kind of plot twist. She was a super happy surprise. I even shocked myself with how open and vulnerable I was able to be during our very first session. She picked up on my thoughts and patterns so quickly and so accurately that it felt like she’d known me for longer than an hour. I’m genuinely grateful I ended up with her.

I don't know her yet completely and I'm not saying that she won't ever disappoint me, but so far...I love her presence. Very warm and welcoming individual. Beautiful person.
