My goal is not only to help you address the challenges you face today but also to provide you with tools to thrive long-term. Together, we can develop a path forward that allows you to feel empowered, supported, and ready to face the challenges life may bring. Let's work together to unlock your full potential and build a future where you can feel balanced and at peace.

First session

Feel comfortable enough to open up to me. Explain their situation and get a good understanding of the plan moving forward.

Strengths

Ability to make people feel comfortable in a non-judgmental manner.

Ideal clients

I work best with clients who are ready to better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives, even if they are not fully sure where to start. Many of the people I connect with are dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, grief, trauma, low self-worth, or feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns. I also work well with clients who want to improve emotional regulation, communication, coping skills, and overall daily functioning. My ideal clients are individuals who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, frustrated, or emotionally exhausted, but still have a desire to grow and heal. I often connect well with people navigating career stress, family conflict, parenting challenges, recovery-related concerns, and major life adjustments. I am especially well positioned to support clients who want a space where they can be honest, reflective, and challenged in a supportive way while building practical tools they can use in everyday life.

Dr. Pettit was very welcoming as we started our first session. I immediately felt that finally I was able to speak without judgement. He understood my situation and he made me feel more at ease after our conversation. He is very supportive and very knowledgeable! I will definitely continue my therapy with Dr. Pettit. I got more from Dr. Pettit in this first visit compared to my previous dr that hasn’t been able to point me in the right direction! Thank you Mr. Nathan Pettit!

My 1st session was excellent. I found Nathan to be a perfect fit for my current situation due to his years of experience in both therapy and real-world situations. Highly recommend.
