Hello and welcome! I am Sierra Lenczycki and I am an LCSW based in Indiana. I graduated with my master's degree from Indiana University in 2019. I have been working as a therapist and counselor since 2019.

I enjoy using humor when appropriate and a laid back and non judgemental approach to connect with clients.

I enjoy working with young adults and adults who are struggling with burn out, life transitions, relationship difficulties, stress, anxiety, depression, and any other issues. I love to work with and empower clients to help them identify and utilize their unique strengths to enhance overall wellness and relationships.

First session

In our first session together, we will spend some time with introductions. Then I will spend some time gathering information about what it is you're seeking in therapy, as well as going over your personal history. From there, we can discuss goals for treatment and scheduling further appointments if the client is interested.

Strengths

I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship between the provider and client. I enjoy using humor when appropriate and a laid back and non-judgmental approach to connect with clients. I have found humor and compassion very helpful in the therapeutic process with clients.

Ideal clients

I love working with adults, young adults, and women in my therapy practice. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, young adults, adults and couples. With adolescents and teens, I enjoy creating a fun and open environment to allow the client to feel comfortable speaking about their unique difficulties and strengths.

Treatment methods

Strength-Based

I enjoy implementing a strengths-based approach in my work with clients to empower clients to recognize and enhance personal strengths to improve well-being and relationships.

Gottman method

Many of the Gottman interventions can be helpful in enhancing relationships

Trauma Informed Care

I am experienced in working with clients who have experienced trauma, and I use a trauma-informed approach by meeting clients where they are in their journey. I like to create a safe, welcoming environment to help clients feel comfortable in exploring their unique challenges at a pace that is most comfortable for the client.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a helpful modality that I like to use with clients to help identify motivations for change, as well as the client's unique strengths.

Since the moment of our first session, Sierra has made me feel so safe and comfortable. It is like talking to a wise friend. I appreciate the space she gives me and the honest feedback I receive. Truly a breath of fresh air!!

I love my sessions with Sierra. She lets me vent all session (if that's what I need to do) and lets me know that she hears me and understands. She is warm, supportive and very calm. I am not ashamed to share with her what is going on with my life. I do not feel judged by her. She is an excellent therapist, and I find myself looking forward to our sessions.
