During the first session, I will provide background information and answer any questions. After that, the goal of the session is to build rapport and gain deeper insight into reasons for seeking therapy.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT has been shown to be beneficial for people suffering from anxiety and depression. Utilizing this therapeutic model helps people to use mental flexibility to accept what is out of your own personal control while committing to action that improves quality of life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a highly beneficial as a collaborative tool CBT to allow us to work together as a team to identify goals, develop strategies, and track progress. I commonly utilize CBT to help clients to challenge negative thought patterns and anxiety inducing thinking.
