(he/him)
Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Doctorate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Western States. I work with clients to approach difficult thoughts and emotions with compassion while identifying and reshaping the beliefs that hold them back. My style combines empathy with practical strategies to foster resilience, clarity, and meaningful action toward what matters most. After all, wherever you go, you take yourself with you.
In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you’re free to share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns openly. My focus is on listening with care and creating a sense of safety, without pressure or expectation.
I believe my greatest strengths as a therapist are listening deeply, helping clients clarify their goals, and navigating those “I don’t know” moments that can feel overwhelming. I challenge with care, blending honesty and empathy to support growth even when the mind pushes back. My goal is to create a space where change feels possible and resilience becomes a lasting foundation.
I enjoy working with individuals who are new to therapy and may need support in normalizing the experience of opening up and sharing personal information in a safe, confidential space. I work well with clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship or performance challenges, or a sense of being stuck, who are seeking support to clarify what truly matters to them and take committed steps toward a life guided by growth, resilience, and purpose, rather than remaining caught in cycles of struggle or avoidance.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I value acknowledging that we can’t always control the content of our minds, such as negative thoughts or difficult emotions. Instead of trying to suppress or eliminate them, ACT helps us accept these thoughts without judgment, recognizing that they sometimes work for us, guiding us toward meaningful action, and other times, they can hold us back. This approach feels validating, as it allows us to acknowledge our experiences without feeling defeated by them. It’s also problem-focused, helping us identify and work through obstacles, and flexible, as it adapts to where we are in our journey, allowing us to respond to our minds’ fluctuations with openness and commitment to our values.
Compassion Focused
After using ACT to build psychological flexibility, we draw on CFT to explore your systems of thinking and being, uncovering how to engage with yourself differently.
Multicultural
Multiculturalism serves as the "background" to my approach because I believe every human being is unique, shaped by their distinct cultural experiences and identities. This perspective allows me to provide individualized care, recognizing and honoring the cultural aspects that are significant to each person. In a world that can often feel invalidating or dismissive of diverse backgrounds, I strive to create a space where individuals feel seen, understood, and respected for who they are. By incorporating multicultural considerations into my work, I empower people to embrace their cultural identities while also addressing the universal aspects of the human experience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We integrate CBT to increase awareness of thinking patterns and develop practical skills, bringing everything together into a personalized wellness toolkit for meaningful change.
