As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with more than two decades of experience, my commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health support to individuals across the lifespan is unwavering. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults, helping them navigate the complexities of their emotional and psychological well-being. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques grounded in the latest research and clinical practices, I strive to empower my clients to overcome obstacles, develop coping strategies, and cultivate resilience in the face of adversity. My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative, with a focus on building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. I recognize the unique strengths, experiences, and needs of each individual, tailoring my interventions to meet their specific goals and preferences. Whether addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, or life transitions, I prioritize creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions openly. Throughout the therapeutic process, I work alongside my clients as a guide and facilitator, offering empathy, insight, and encouragement as they embark on their journey towards healing and personal growth. I believe in the inherent resilience of the human spirit and am deeply committed to helping my clients harness their inner strengths and resources to overcome challenges and live more fulfilling lives. I am a Bilingual Mental Health Counselor who specializes in child development. Are you concerned your child's behaviors, speech, and motor skills are not aligned with your child's age group range? Are you unable to control your child? Are you concerned with your child's behaviors, anxiety, depression, and grades? Are you concerned about how these behaviors are affecting your child at home, school or in relationships with others? During the initial visit, I will visit only with you so that you can talk openly about concerns and issues that may not be developmentally appropriate to discuss in front of your child. This is an excellent opportunity to talk not just about your child's individual needs but also about difficult family dynamics, family history of mental health or substance use issues, traumatic events, background information about your child's early development, or any other issues that you may not want your child to hear details about at this time. Having one-on-one time with the therapist also allows you to ask questions about my approach, conversation style, professional training, and any other things that you would like to know about me, to help you confirm that I will be a good fit for your child and your family.
