I have been working in the mental health field since 2010. I began working with many clients who had developmental disorders and Autism; teaching life skills, and behavioral management. In 2012, I started working with children and families within a home and community setting. Teaching behavioral techniques/plans, coping skills, parenting techniques/skills, and assisted with 504 plans with school districts. I finished my master’s in clinical, mental health counseling degree in 2016, and began working with adults, running groups, and completing intakes. I have experience working with addictions, depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, personality disorders, Autism, and developmental disorders.

In my former career as a high school teacher, I personally experienced work stress/burn out, identity and self esteem challenges, poor boundaries, anxiety/depression, and other relational challenges. As a parent, I can also relate to the challenges that family life can bring. I became a therapist because I enjoy helping others to live their best life.
