As a relationship therapist, LMFT, and doctoral MFT student, helping relationships thrive is my ultimate goal. In addition to Family Systems work, I utilize Solution-Focused Therapy to stabilize day-to-day life and design a preferred future. Once a safe environment is established we will explore the root of the traumas. We will re-evaluate boundaries and increase self-confidence and self-validation with the development of strong coping skills and self-soothing techniques. I guide my clients out of survival mode to living in the present. I include psychotherapeutic yoga, CBT, DBT, attachment, and neuropsychology. I am EMDR trained.

It is fair to say there are a lot of stressors in our society, some so large they can have a huge impact on how we enjoy and navigate our lives. I'm here to tell you it isn't all in your head, you're not alone, and it is ok to ask for help. I am a licensed clinical social worker offering virtual therapy to individuals in Louisiana and Texas. I utilize a client-centered approach, meaning you are the expert in your own life and I am here only to assist you in reaching your goals. Trauma-informed care is a very important part of the services I provide, as I specialize in working with survivors of trauma, with expertise in abuse and assault. I believe it is necessary to acknowledge traumatic experiences throughout our lives and how those experiences may shape our worldview. Trauma is incorporated into the majority of the work I do with clients, it looks different for us all but it exists in some capacity. I am lucky to have had opportunities in my career that have allowed me to expand my practice to include working with individuals experiencing chronic illnesses. I provide a space where folks with chronic illnesses can share openly about the confines of their illnesses and receive validation around those feelings, sometimes for the first time. Most of the time clients are having a very normal reaction to an abnormal situation, no one prepares us for the possibility of chronic illness and little support is available for those who experience it. Lastly, as a queer woman, it is important to me that I provide quality care for LGBTQ teens and adults. Too often, we cannot find providers who hold identities similar to our own. The last few years have allowed me to work with LGBTQ teens in my area and I have learned a great deal from them. I hope to continue this work for some time while growing my practice and providing quality care to anyone who is interested in working with me.

Hi! I'm Tori Volanski. I'm so glad you're here and that you've taken the first step towards getting support. Maybe you aren't quite sure how to focus on what matters or even find the motivation to figure it out. You want to feel better but you aren't even sure what feels wrong. You want to find more ways to connect with those important to you, lean into the joys that life has to offer and embrace new challenges. I've been there too, many times and I'm here to support you on your journey. I connect well with adults and adolescents who are exploring their identities and learning to embrace their values. I practice from a person-centered approach which means that getting to know you, your personal experiences, and what feels most important to you right now is what will guide our work together. I'm here to help connect the dots but you decide what the bigger picture is. I look forward to learning more about you and providing a place for you to be your most authentic self. Please schedule a consultation if you have any questions.

My name is Brytni Johnson. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) born and raised in Texas (always in and around "DFW”). I have been working with people: moms and dads; sons and daughters; brothers and sisters; even grandparents for as long as I can remember. I realized just over 12 years ago, I wanted to "help people." I wanted to become educated and trained; learn how to better explore and accentuate my natural skills, while also being able to understand and develop new skills to best assist my clients. In 2012, I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work. In 2016, I graduated with my Master of Social Work. Shortly after graduating, I obtained my LMSW licensure, and have been practicing in a licensed, professional environment for the past 7 years. After obtaining my license, it was then, my "toolbelt" (yes, toolbelt) gained its first tool. From there, I began working towards building my clinical knowledge in order to obtain my clinical license as a social worker. I obtained my LCSW licensure June 2022; shortly after completing over 3,000 clock hours and over 100 clinical supervision hours.

We will work together in developing helpful behaviors and collaborate to create a safe place to develop emotional and physical wellness.

Hello everyone. I have worked in mental health and education for 25+ years. I have worked with both men and women extensively. What I find most interesting is how different we all are. Far too often I see treatment as being described as "this method may help this person" but the reality is, is that what works for one may not work for another. Your individuality is what makes you special. Identify what you want to be may help you get there.

Hi there! My name is Brooke Elliott and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since 2018, I’ve worked in various mental health settings helping my community connect with resources that build self-esteem. I have been practicing as an individual therapist since 2021. Growing up with undiagnosed neurodivergence, shame and struggle marked my everyday interactions with my family and the world around me, as well as my view of who I was as a person. I learned what it felt like to be alone with my anxieties because I didn’t have the words to express to others what I was feeling on the inside. Learning that there was a reason for my struggles opened a new world of self-acceptance and empowerment, one that allowed me to take charge of my life and give myself the care I had been missing. Today, I get to work with people who struggle like I did to find a "method to their madness". Together, we can get rid of the shame that stops you from finding the acceptance you deserve and work towards building a life that fits within your unique needs.

Hey there - my name is Tana (pronounced tan-uh) and my pronouns are she/her. As a Queer therapist in a rural area, I love helping others from marginalized communities who have felt or currently feel like outsiders finally feel heard and understood. I describe my one-line specialty as, "identity exploration and affirmation." When the light bulb goes off for people, I feel a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction (selfishly). As someone with ADHD and anxiety, I know what paralysis can feel like... I know what the inability to get started feels like... I know what struggling with executive dysfunction feels like... I am very open and nonjudgmental so that I can A) help you figure out what's going on and B) help figure out what we need to do to get you the solution *you* want! I am open to all ages and populations, but I do most often work with young adults in the LGBTQIA+ community and/or with neurodivergence.

Hello, I am Tracy. Glad you are here and have reached out for help. That is not always easy. Let me pose some questions to contemplate. Have you been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or down? Have relationships become strained or are they not the quality you would like them to be? Are you wanting to be the best version of yourself, but feel you need support from a trained professional? We have so many roles that we fulfill in life and that can be a lot to manage from time to time, particularly if we have additional stressors affecting us that we did not anticipate. In therapy, I provide space in the therapeutic relationship for patients to feel comfortable, be themselves, and share what their concerns are while withholding judgment. I am passionate about the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy coupled with Interpersonal Processes and Whole Self interventions in sessions. This integrative approach utilizes specific interventions to address depression, anxiety, uncertainty in life transitions, relationship concerns or anxiety, in addition to family dynamics. I believe that the mind and body are connected and lean toward a whole self approach by incorporating the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I tend to fold mindfulness, meditation, art, and journaling in addition to addressing any physical or spiritual needs that may arise. This integrative approach results in patients feeling empowered, centered, and clear-minded. They have a better sense of self and improved self-care. A stronger relationship with oneself results from gaining insight and perspective, changing untrue thought patterns, and learning ways to better cope with negative feelings and thoughts, as well as primary relationships in their life.
