I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). These three therapeutic approaches help alleviate the challenges that come with trauma, PTSD, and personality disorders. The skills learned through DBT also assist with anxiety and depression. I will have you challenge negative thoughts and look at other ways to view issues or situations and learn to utilize healthy coping skills. I also like to incorporate mindfulness skills, such as guided meditations, worksheets, practice, and suggested reading.
