Hey!! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas and Missouri. I enjoy creating a safe place for individuals, couples, and families to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I grew up in an environment where therapy was taboo, so I truly understand the courage it takes to find help. My mission is to assist in the healing process. My schedule is tailored for individuals who work during the day so I have several evening options (7:00 pm-9:00 PM) and some weekend (Sunday) spots open. I have extensive training in the following; trauma, emotional regulation skills, depression, and substance abuse counseling. Although I have been clinically licensed for 4 years, I have been in the behavioral health field for over 10 years working in various areas which include; foster care, adolescent residential, case management, jails (adolescent/adult facilities), assisted living, substance abuse facilities (inpatient/outpatient), and worked for a national crisis line. Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She obtained a Masters in Art Therapy Counseling degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Michelle has 12 years of clinical experience and blends neurodiversity-affirming, and person-centered practices with creative approaches to guide clients toward emotional well-being.  ​ Michelle is a neurodivergent individual, and is the parent of an adult child who is neurodivergent. As such, she has an understanding and experience navigating the social world through an atypical lens. Michelle also has extensive knowledge navigating services related to autism and ADHD at the local, state and federal level.  ​ Addressing challenges such as relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and more, Michelle’s person-centered approach and affirming-care ensures clients feel truly seen and supported.
