I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and 20 years ago I moved to Florida where I currently reside. I graduated in 2005 from Florida International University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. At the present time, I hold 8 state licenses that allows me to to provide Tele-health counseling in other states besides Florida; Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, Utah and Michigan. I am also bilingual (English and Spanish) and I have more than 10 years of experience in the mental health and social services arena.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas with 26 years of comprehensive clinical and leadership experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families in both individual and group settings. Some of the clinical issues that I have the most experience with in include: depression and anxiety, parenting matters, anger/stress management in addition to trauma, women's health issues, mood instability along with grief and loss. I truly value and approach each individual therapeutic relationship fully and empathize with the different spectrum of emotions that a client may experience during the course of treatment. I firmly believe each individual has the ability and strength to overcome their struggles, but that sometimes having additional support in the form of therapy can assist one to better identify and recognize the skills, strategies and strengths they already possess.
