Hello, my name is Dr. Jomo Thomas. I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist for almost 20 years. I am a US Army veteran and I enjoy exercising, reading, and traveling. In addition to having a degree in counseling, I also possess a degree in Theology from Moody Seminary and, I specialize in providing Christian counseling and Biblical counseling. My behavioral health clinical specializations include treating individuals with substance use disorders and mood disorders to include anxiety and depression. I also enjoy working with professionals who are dealing with workplace and career challenges. I also work with adolescents and young adults.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and 20 years ago I moved to Florida where I currently reside. I graduated in 2005 from Florida International University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. At the present time, I hold 8 state licenses that allows me to to provide Tele-health counseling in other states besides Florida; Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, Utah and Michigan. I am also bilingual (English and Spanish) and I have more than 10 years of experience in the mental health and social services arena.
