I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in issues of adjustment, trauma, depression, anxiety, crisis, grief, child and adolescent behaviors, and sexual abuse. I also have experience with talking with individuals with mood and personality disorders, PTSD, and issues surrounding divorce. On a more personal level, I enjoy traveling and refer to myself as a coffee connoisseur. I also have two small dogs that think they run the world and like to introduce themselves from time to time in my sessions. My focus during my psychology career has been working with people who have disabilities. I have worked in a rehabilitation hospital, nursing homes, Church based community counseling and a state rehabilitation center for persons who are blind or visually impaired. I have experience in determining the validity of testing, and in research.
