I am Craig Lampkin and a Native New Yorker. I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because I enjoy processing with individuals and listening to personal journeys, ultimately finding a resolution. I went to a Performing Arts High School in New York City. This experience empowered me to have a unique therapeutic approach. By providing therapy through visual cues and using various therapeutic methods and modalities, individuals can learn new coping, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. I received my BA from Binghamton University in Psychology and MS from Florida State University in Child, Family, and Consumer Sciences, emphasizing Family Relations. I am a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am the owner of Rothschild Counseling and Consulting, LLC in Tallahassee, Florida. With over 30 years of experience working with children and families. My scope of practice in Marriage and Family Counseling, Domestic Violence and Batterer's Intervention, Child Welfare, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Parenting, Anger Management, Child Development, Individual and Group Counseling. I enjoy going to the gym, movies, socializing with friends/family, and singing in my free time. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I find this a unique challenge for couples and families. When two individuals enter a union, they bring a new relationship between their childhood experience and family life experiences. Marriage and Family Therapy's clinical journey brings together the unique qualities, challenges, and building a new foundation to create a new life together. I specialize in working with children and families in child welfare. I particularly enjoy working with young children and teens since these are some of the most challenging developmental years. Often, clients in this age group experience trauma and distress from systemic and familial patterns of behavior. Parenting is also a challenge. With all the daily stressors parents have in today's fast-paced life resulting In low parental capacities and protective factors. Working in trauma is challenging; when individuals experiencing domestic violence are batterers with low insight into their abuse, substance use has difficulty caring for themselves and others. I've worked with Human Trafficking victims and the LGBTQAI+ community. When individuals' basic needs, shelter, food, and clothing and not met, it's challenging to focus on their mental health challenges. Adolescents are a period of life with specific health and developmental needs and rights. It is also a time to develop knowledge and skills, learn to manage emotions and relationships, acquire attributes and abilities, and transition into adulthood. These are the years that mold our young population to blaze new trails and hand the torch to further our communities. I enjoy working with an individual with Developmental Disabilities. This unique population has an increase in resilience as they learn to understand the environment. I want to process with individuals through rehabilitation supports to ameliorate behavioral challenges. Collaboration with social and paid supports is pinnacle in this population's well-being to ensure stability while increasing coping, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. PLEASE NOTE: TO ENSURE APPOINTMENTS ARE STREAMLINED AND EASY TO MANAGE MY SCHEDULE, ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE ON THE HOUR. PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT THE DAY AND TIME THAT YOU PICK FOR YOUR INTAKE WILL BE THE SAME DAY AND TIME FOR CONCURRENT THERAPY. IF ANY OTHER TIME SCHEDULED THE SESSION WILL BE CANCELLED. PLEASE TEXT ME FOR CLARIFICATION OR WE CAN DISCUSS THIS DURING THE FIRST SESSION.

Hi there. Finding a clinician to help you in your journey to feeling well again can sometimes feel overwhelming. I am down to earth and speak to people with compassion, respect, and dignity. I focus on techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I truly believe that change is possible when we are willing to face challenges and difficulties head on. It can also be difficult to do that alone, which is where I fit in. It is very important to get to know you from the first session to see if this will be a good fit. My main focuses are on the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, ADHD, Grief and guiding parents who are navigating a diagnosis for their children. I work with people to teach them strategies to empower themselves and make lasting changes.

Hello, I am Kathy Have you ever felt overwhelmed, lost, trying to juggle it all while trying to maintain a balance? When did you last dance or sing or enjoy what made you feel good? Remember the last time you had a "belly laugh?" I believe that we all need a guide, someone to help us get back to what we are good at and to a place where we can feel peace. I use the partnership approach in therapy as you are the specialist in your life and I am the specialist to help navigate the therapeutic needs of mind, body and spirit. I will combine Cognitive Behavioral therapy with positive psychology, mindfulness, and trauma resolution to help you experience the best you want to be and to help you live your best life. It can be hard to reach out and ask for a hand up and I would like to help you discover and uncover what it is that you would most benefit from whether it's from relationship difficulties, anxiety or depression, shame and guilt, ADHD or resolution of trauma, together we can work and create your bliss.

I started this journey of helping others in 2004 when I decided to make Mental Health a career choice. After earning a master's degree, I accepted my first paid position at Phoenix House of Brandon, FL and fell deeper in love with helping people emerge from whatever darkness they were experiencing in their lives. My passion is counseling those who struggle with various addictive behaviors (substance use, problem gambling, etc.) and co-occurring lifestyle issues. I have found strength-based and empathic approaches encourage clients to discover their capabilities for living a healthy, positive lifestyle.

HI! My name is Mary Beth Ridderman. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. In addition to my state licensure, I have earned credentials as a National Certified Counselor, a Qualified LMHC Supervisor, a Certified Clinical Military Counselor, a Certified Life Coach, a Board Certified Tele-mental Health Counselor, a Social Investigator, and a Qualified Parenting Coordinator in Florida Circuits 3, 4, and 8. I am proud to be a member of Chi Sigma Iota, an International Academic and Professional Counseling Honor Society. In addition, I am a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and Sand Tray Therapist Candidate, working with people of all ages, to add interesting and fun personal growth activities to the traditional counseling experience. A part of play therapy is sand tray therapy and I am passionate about collecting miniature items or “symbols” to represent all aspects of life. During video sessions, you will see my office and part of my collection. I love to teach other therapists and students about play therapy and sand tray therapy at universities or professional conferences. I have over twenty years' experience working with families as a child advocate with the court system and I currently provide social investigations and assist parents and children involved in contentious divorce or visitation issues. Perhaps my most rewarding experience was seven years’ providing individual and group counseling in a shelter for survivors of domestic violence. My specialties are working with individuals who have symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, anger, traumatic brain injury, or who are experiencing family issues. I do not treat clients who have issues with suicide, substance abuse, or eating disorders: those issues are best served in face-to-face sessions and by therapists with credentials for treatment. Clients find that I genuinely like people from all walks of life, I am non-judgmental, and I am an excellent listener. Research supports, and I believe, that a strong client-counselor relationship is the most important part of the counseling experience and creating that bond is my goal. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and working with to achieve your personal goals. Mary Beth

I am holistic - mind-body-spirit-soul and I help you achieve good health on all levels. I can help in a lot of ways but I first listen to what is important to you to address first. I help strengthen the body by recommending natural herbs to relieve anxiety and depression, physical pain, and herbs to boost the immune system, and I recommend physical exercise, I help balance the emotions with psychodynamic therapy getting to the roots of the problems, and I teach special kinds of meditation that calms the monkey mind and bring you more peace and fulfillment., and a deeper connection with the kingdom of heaven inside of you. and creative visualizations to help boost your confidence and self-esteem. Since I have a PhD in both Clinical and Organizational Psychology. I am also skilled in helping people succeed in business. and my therapy license in marriage and family counseling and a master's degree in marriage and family counseling which helped give me the skills to teach you how to have a happy and successful marriage with good parenting communication. I also use all of the creative arts to inspire you further. I also offer a free 15-minute conversation by telephone where you can decide if we are a good fit for each other. I have studied many different kinds of modalities to work in so if one doesn't work for you, we can switch to another. For instance, some people just want to be listened to and don't want advice, whlle others want a lot of advice and direction. yet others want me to help them go inside to help them find their own answers. I try and balance these three but you can voice if you think I am moving too far into one or another and I can then move to your comfort zone and needs. I am recommended by Laura Elena de Ortiz MD
