Hi my name is Iyana Davidson. I am licensed as LMHC, and a Board Certified Tele-health Counselor. I've been successfully providing therapy throughout the State of Florida for over 8 years. My specialties include; depression, anxiety, stress related concerns, trauma, and relationship issues. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, faced recent trauma, or have feelings of depression; my services are aimed to introduce coping skills, and self-motivation. Most have asked there self, is counseling for me. If you have ever called a friend or family member in time of need, you will ease right into therapy. My mission is to create a confidential and safe space, while improving the live of my clients. I endeavor to provide the best possible therapy by continually updating my knowledge and skills, as new research and techniques in mental health come available.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Your first session with me will be a chance for me to get to know you better. I will explore family history, past mental health history, past traumas, and current life stressors. An initial intake will also be a chance for me as your therapist to explain confidentiality, duty to warn, and specific treatment plans. During treatment I will challenge you to meet treatment goals, and there is an expectation to make progress through the course treatment.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I specifically like to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a treatment modality. CBT challenges clients' negative or irrational thoughts. CBT has been proven to to support clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and various other conditions.

My biggest strengths I bring to therapy is my ability to build rapport with my clients. I create a safe environment for my clients to be themselves.
