Hello! I am excited you are here! This means you have already taken the first big (sometimes scary) step in building a different life for yourself. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Georgia who has 10 years of experience. I love working with folks who want to move from a place of surviving to thriving. Are you ready for the next step?

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Firstly- I am hilarious. I utilize humor, sarcasm, and wit to express my authentic self to give you space and permission to do the same. I am also a rule follower so please know we will be reviewing the consent forms to ensure you're properly informed, collect history of your life and start formulating a direction you would like to head in to begin to change your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my authenticity, humility, and respect for your human-ness are my greatest strengths. I have a deep love for humanity and feel it shows in my work.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I find I am most successful in working with clients who are in a life transition and want to gain a better understanding of themselves to make changes in their lives. My client's benefit from my experience in working in many different levels of care as I have developed a comprehensive library of therapeutic techniques to meet them where they are to help them get where they want to go.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR (eye-movement reprocessing and desensitization) is a type of trauma treatment that doesn’t require reliving in detail the traumatic events. Instead, we focus on changing the emotions, thoughts or behaviors that result from a distressing experience via bilateral stimulation to allow your brain to resume a natural healing process.

Humanistic

At my core as a clinician, I believe you are capable and the expert of yourself. Working together, we will build a safe space to process what needs attention and direction to change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Sometimes we need a different perspective on the things we have mulled over on our own. CBT can help with challenging those negative thought loops to explore additional ways of being in our lives.
