Hello! My name is Kim. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to the well-being of the individuals I serve. In my therapy practice, I work with individuals that report anxiety, stress, depression, interpersonal relational concerns, occupational challenges, difficulty maintaining boundaries, and other conditions. For support, I offer cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in individual therapy sessions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will explore your presenting concerns for therapy and create a tailored plan related to your therapy goals. Each session, we will focus on what is important to your specific needs. Check-ins regarding therapy interventions and your goals will occur as needed throughout therapy sessions to be certain that we are on track to meet your treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work diligently to provide empirically-based treatment interventions for individuals who report a variety of needs. I am looking forward to working with you!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I offer CBT therapy interventions to encourage cognitive challenging, restructuring and refocusing thoughts in session.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I also offer an introduction and continued therapy sessions using skills such as mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness and emotion regulation techniques. We will use these interventions and others to support acceptance of difficult feelings, moods and thoughts.
