Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Kentucky. I received my Masters degree from the University of Louisville and have been practicing clinical social work for 4 years. I enjoy helping individuals deal with life stressors and mental health concerns in order to become the best version of themselves. I strive to leave others better off than when I met them.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be spent getting to know one another and determining goals that you as a client would like to work on during our time together. Building rapport will be the foundation of our therapeutic relationship. It’s important that expectations are set for both parties during this visit as well as discussing a plan and specific goals we will be working towards.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a strong ability of building relationships. I provide a safe space for clients to be themselves and work through whatever issue that they may be facing. I am honest and help clients to identify and utilize their strengths to face anything that they may be dealing with. I want others around me to reach their full potential.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been using CBT in my practice for since becoming a therapist four years ago. It's helped many of my clients struggling with issues of excessive/negative thoughts and anxiety. CBT has been great at helping previous clients identify unwanted thoughts/feelings/behaviors and changing them.

Trauma Informed Care

As a therapist that understands the impact that trauma can have on someone's life, I realize the importance of using a trauma informed care approach. When trauma has been experienced, it's important to acknowledge the role that trauma may play. This approach promotes healing and recovery. Trauma informed approach has become one of my favorite approaches.
