Hello, thank you for being here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan with over ten years of experience. I specialize in helping adults in caregiving, helping, and leadership roles find more balanced and fulfilled lives. It can be hard to ask for help when you are used to having all of the answers, but you deserve the same support that you give to others. Taking care of others starts with taking care of ourselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal is to ensure that you feel heard, supported, and believed at every step in the process. I take time to truly listen and understand your unique experiences and perspectives. We will partner together to develop achievable goals that are aligned with your vision. Many of my clients report feeling better after our first session, just from having an opportunity to feel seen and heard. I view therapy as a partnership and value your input and ideas.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have lived experience as a caregiver, helping professional, and in leadership roles at both small and large non-profit organizations. When I say I understand the challenges you are facing balancing it all, I really do! My style is rooted in compassion and empowerment; I view my clients as the experts of their own lives and I am here to be a helpful support. I help my clients feel more balanced, less anxious, and have the confidence to manage whatever they are faced with. I do this by bringing a mix of exploration and education to sessions to help you better understand the "why" behind your behavior, become more grounded in the present, and learn practical skills and tools to help you continue to show up for yourself and those that matter most to you.
