What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first therapy appointment, we'll discuss what brings you in and what you hope to achieve from therapy. I'll ask questions to understand your background, current challenges, and goals, laying the foundation for our journey together

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My passion for helping women of all ages stems from a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths that they have. I am committed to providing a supportive space where women can explore their experiences, concerns, and aspirations without judgment. Through my work, I've witnessed the remarkable resilience that women exhibit in the face of adversity, and it's this resilience that fuels my dedication. Guiding women through the process of overcoming trauma, anxiety, depression, and other challenges is a privilege I hold close to my heart. Witnessing their growth and transformation is incredibly rewarding, and it's what continually inspires me to be the best therapist I can be. Understanding the complexities of a woman's life, whether it's the impact of societal expectations, the intricacies of relationships, or the multi-faceted roles they often fulfill, drives me to provide tailored support that respects their individuality. My ultimate goal is to empower women to navigate life's obstacles, discover their strengths, and lead lives that are both fulfilling and authentic. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past 10 years. It’s helped many clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses on learning how to deal with your thoughts and feelings better. It's about accepting that sometimes you might feel bad or have negative thoughts, but instead of letting them control you, you learn to let them be there without freaking out. You also figure out what really matters to you and start doing stuff that lines up with those important things. It's like learning to surf on the waves of your feelings instead of getting knocked down by them!

Trauma Informed Care

In our sessions, I practice trauma-informed care, which means I recognize how past traumatic experiences might be affecting you now. It's essential for me to understand your history so we can navigate your current challenges together. By creating a safe and supportive space, I aim to empower you to explore your emotions and experiences at your own pace, ensuring that you feel respected and understood throughout our therapeutic journey.
