Hi! My name is Roslyn and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Special Educator working with children and families since 2005. My experience includes promoting the emotional, behavioral, and developmental well-being of children and families in the Central Florida area. My goal is to provide a Nurturing and caring environment. Providing tools and strategies for children, teens, and young adults to help foster a positive outcome on life and your mental well being. I am a graduate of The University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova SouthEastern University
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My goal is to provide a nurturing, healthy and safe environment. I am here to motivate and encourage children, teens, young adults and families to learn and practice therapeutic skills in order to be successful emotionally, behaviorally, and developmentally.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I provide play therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, child-centered methods to include art therapy, music therapy, bibliotherapy to help foster a nurturing and safe environment. I also specialize in working with clients with Individual Education Plans (IEP), behavior support, school-related issues, loss, trauma, abuse, & reunification support.
