Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist based in Illinois. I received my Master's Degree from Lewis University and have been practicing for five years. In addition to providing treatment for a variety of different disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders (among others), I also have a passion for providing services to the LGBTQ+ community to make sure they have access to the support and care they deserve/need. I am primarily available on Fridays and Saturdays between 9-3, but I am also able to provide appointments outside of this availability by request! If you need a time outside the availability, simply ask and I will do my best to accommodate these needs!
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During our first session, I will complete an evaluation that will help me gain a deeper understanding of the issues that brought you to therapy, provide a diagnosis (as required by insurance), develop a treatment plan, and work with you to develop treatment goals. I will also devote time to answering any questions you may have regarding the experience!
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Through my work with a variety of different populations and mental health challenges, I have developed a tried-and-true playbook for identifying the root of the issues that brought you to therapy, identifying solutions that work for you based on your personal strengths, and developing a tailored plan that helps you achieve the level of progress you desire.
Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
I love working with young adults who are still working on finding their place in the world, but may need a little bit of help doing so. My clients are eager to learn and put in the work necessary to find the path that's right for them, but may struggle with finding what that path is. They often feel unsure about what their purpose is in life, struggle with confidence, and feel a certain level of uncertainty about what comes next.
