I want to assist individuals, couples, and families, ages 5 to 99+, on their chosen paths to living a healthy, mentally stable lifestyle by creating a safe, compassionate, and caring environment where individuals are free to be themselves, where they are comfortable in their skins, where they can identify their strengths, identify their goals, and pursue those goals on their timeline. I also want to strive to help families define their normal and achieve that vision while developing positive self-esteem, healthy coping skills, and appropriate boundaries.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

For our first session, I like to gather background information, as well as assist you in coming up with therapeutic goals. We will also discuss any concerns you might have about therapy. Every therapist does therapy differently, so our first session will also be about connecting and making sure this is a good fit for your needs.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I generally use a person-centered approach which allows you to pick your goals and the style that fits you best. Typically a session will use a talk therapy style where I listen and guide you to the solutions that work best for you, including utilizing DBT and CBT.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I enjoy listening and connecting with my clients. I like to focus on your strengths. We all have areas of growth, and we will talk about those, but I also want to stay focused on what you excel at, and how those areas can assist you in achieving the balance you are searching for.
