Hello! I'm Renee Craft a dedicated Independent Clinical Social Worker, ready to embark on a transformative journey with you! Has life thrown you a curveball? If so, reaching out is the first step toward cultivating resilience. Know that you have an unwavering ally in me, someone committed to helping you bounce back, grow stronger, and thrive! I've always seen resilience as a superpower waiting to be unleashed. My role? To be your resilience therapist, guiding you through the twists and turns of life's adventures. Together, we'll transform adversity into your stepping stones to greatness!! My commitment to learning never stops as I stay ahead of the curve with the latest resilience strategies and research.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, we will begin by getting to know each other. I'll ask questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and goals. You can expect to share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns in a safe and non-judgmental space. Together, we'll collaborate to establish clear goals and a personalized treatment plan. I'll share my initial impressions and thoughts on how we can work together to address your concerns and foster growth. In many cases, you may gain some immediate insights or a sense of relief after our first session. However, it's common to also experience mixed emotions, as discussing personal challenges can be emotionally charged. It's important to be patient with yourself as we navigate this process. Over time, you can expect to gain deeper insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You'll develop a better understanding of your strengths and areas for growth. Our therapeutic relationship is designed to support not only immediate relief but also long-term personal growth and well-being. Together, we'll build the resilience and skills you need to thrive.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I'm not your ordinary therapist; I'm your partner in resilience. Using a mix of creative, evidence-based therapies, like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, and Strength-Based Approaches, we'll craft a personalized resilience plan that suits your unique journey

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In my resilient toolkit, you'll find an array of resiliency-focused approaches for a variety of circumstances. Here are just a few examples: Individuals struggling with substance use disorders (SUDs): assess the severity of the addiction, identify co-occurring mental health disorders, and evaluate the individual's readiness for change. Help clients navigate the continuum of care, including detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and aftercare support. Collaboration with medical professionals to provide medicated assisted treatment when appropriate. Equip clients with relapse prevention strategies. Incorporate holistic approaches like mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and polyvagel therapy to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of recovery. Additionally, another clinical strength of mine is providing therapy services to individuals with developmental delays and family members. Dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and promoting the maximum potential of individuals by addressing their unique developmental challenges and supporting their overall well-being.
