I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with experience working with individuals and families. My experience includes working in various settings (home, community, and academic environments) and understand the importance of working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members in order to asses and address areas of need.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe everyone can succeed in their goals when making realistic changes that are right for them. I let you determine what works for you and help guide you through the process of change. I don't believe in limiting ourselves and believe a lot can be accomplished with the right tools and mindset. I am very open-minded, accepting, and come with a nonjudgmental attitude. I am happy to be your advocate and supporter as you embark on your journey of wellness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working with me means overcoming and powering through challenges in life by discovering healthier coping mechanisms and thought processes. Often times when working on a relationship - whether it be with yourself or others - means rediscovering your own needs. These are the cornerstones of therapy in our collaborative relationship.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I have training and experience utilizing a number of treatment modalities and how to incorporate them when working with clients. This allows me to not focus on the linear approach but rather what will suit you the best.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

While my approach is integrative, the basics of CBT are often used as a foundational therapy as it is versatile within itself and is largely used in a lot of other modalities.

Strength-Based

I often focus on strengths and how they can be used to lift up someone when they are experiencing challenges. We will look at your challenges and focus on your strengths so that we can overcome obstacles, whether tangible or otherwise, and develop strategies together.
