Hi there, I am JC. Is there something bothering you that you want to change? I utilize a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic, solution focused, and existential. In all cases, I try to adjust my style to meet the needs and preferences of each individual client. I also teach mindfulness, to enhance self-awareness and the ability to manage stress. I am pragmatic and a compassionate therapist. I approach therapy as a collaborative encounter, helping clients recognize and cultivate their inner strengths. My primary goal is to help clients achieve creative, meaningful, and holistic responses to the complicated challenges of their lives. Whether you're dealing with being overwhelmed, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and cognitive habits holding you back. Let's work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness training along with adding a dash of humor to our sessions. I believe that humor can ease the struggle when things seem difficult. After all, life is serious, but seriousness does not have be our life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Through cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness training, I can educate you on how to live in and practice presence. It’s impossible to reach your full potential if you’re constantly somewhere else, unable to fully embrace the reality (good or bad) of the very moment.
