Making the decision to seek therapy is not an easy one, and choosing the right therapist to meet your needs can be even more daunting! As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have had the great fortune of supporting individuals from all walks of life who are working to make peace with their past, to connect with their present, and to build hope about their future. I strive to provide tailored support for my clients as they address issues like anxiety, depression, addiction, past trauma, communication issues, anger management, symptoms of serious mental illness, adjustment and decision-making issues, and relationship problems.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Using an individualized, nonjudgmental approach, I will work with you collaboratively on building support, creating healthy independence, developing self-compassion and self-acceptance, clarifying values, and identifying goals for improving coping, fulfillment, and self-concept. I also offer clinical and forensic assessment services. When it comes to our work together, I consider you the expert on YOU, and I will invite you to deepen your self-knowledge while expanding your ability to cope with challenges in pursuit of your values-based goals.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Working from a person-centered foundation, I use an approach that integrates a variety of different types of therapy according to what is the best fit for the client.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel honored to be able to assist with supporting the journeys of people as they work through issues of addictive behaviors, shame, interpersonal dysfunction in current relationships and with family-of-origin.
