Hey there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Texas. I received my degree from the University of Michigan and have been and LCSW for the past 10 years. I work with clients of all ages and walks of life increase their level of functionality within various relationships (work, family, intimate).

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will do brief introductions and begin to explore where you are currently and what is stopping you from getting to the next level in your life. This session is truly all about you and what goals you want to establish for yourself throughout this journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the past 10 years, I have learned it is imperative to meet the client where they are. Most clients have been managing past traumas by keeping it all in and have yet to find a safe space to release that energy. By actively listening to what clients need the most, I am able to help them develop coping skills that are most helpful and have a safe space to say how they truly feel without judgement. My ultimate goal is to help each client become who they need to be.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've used this modality over the last 6 years. I am a firm believer that our thought process and perspectives greatly impact our behaviors and overall mental health.

Faith based therapy

If your faith plays an important role in how you engage in relationships and days to day interactions, then it's important to address it throughout therapy. Our faith ultimately impacts how we respond to stress and can be a source of strength in how we overcome it.

Family Therapy

Family can be a great source of stress without the appropriate boundaries. Having a safe space to discuss the issues and setting those boundaries can be helpful for the overall cohesion of the family unit.

Group Therapy

I have conducted group therapy for the past 8 years. This modality allows people who are experiencing similar symptoms and diagnosis to interact with others who understand what they are going thru and a place to learn appropriate coping skills to manage these symptoms.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness has been such a helpful tool working with all types of clients. I regularly provide clients with mindfulness techniques to assist clients outside of sessions to manage their stress.
