Everyone can benefit from having someone to speak to when life throws various challenges at us and things become overwhelming. I value creating a therapeutic space where clients can share their experiences, feel heard, feel validated, and receive effective strategies to achieve their goals. I know that seeking help is not easy which is why I emphasize quality care, authenticity, and a trusting relationship with my clients. I am deeply honored to do this work and I am passionate about my clients achieving optimal mental and physical wellness. I commend you for taking the first step in receiving support! My clinical specialties include: anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, family concerns, relationship concerns, interpersonal concerns, academic concerns and career concerns. Also, I specialize in working with professionals, entrepreneurs, athletes, and military veterans.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My initial sessions focus on rapport building as well as understanding your needs and reasons for being in therapy. I regularly assign homework so that the goal of counseling is kept as a priority. I do not want to keep you in counseling forever but until you learn skills that will improve your day to day life.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My specialty is in person centered therapy so as your therapist, I will work collaboratively with you to better understand your presenting issues and develop a treatment plan that is prioritizes your needs. I focus on empowering you to overcome your challenges while equipping you with new skills to handle your daily challenges. Clinically, I approach therapy from an integrative perspective grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am working towards Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Certification.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I specialize in dealing with issues that plague men in the current climate we live in. Why does masculinity have to be associated with toxicity or machismoisms.
