Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters and Doctorate from Argosy University in Southern California. I have been Practicing in Mental Health for over 10 years. I have worked with children, adolescent to adults from behavior issue, family to working with those individuals incarcerated.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I would like to start with brief introductions, then inquired about your specific needs. This information will help me create and together tailor a plan for us work through together in follow up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working with a ray of individual from children to adults, and cultures, I have developed the ability to connect with individuals. I like to believe that I “meet the individuals where they are” providing them that safe place to be themselves while allowing them the ability to open up to their needs and desire.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have utilized CBT by providing coping tools, tracking negative thoughts/schema, and homework while increasing positive thought process. Utilizing this tool, I would help change unhelpful and unhealthy way of thinking and behavior and again using self-help strategies.

Narrative

I personally utilize Narrative to help individual externalize their problem from the past. This allows an individual/youth to separate their concern and rewrite their story to what maybe a better outcome for them as they reframe from internalizing the problem.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focus has help me provide, short and quick service for those with limited time and would like to focus present and the future problems. This is where I can Listen, collaborate, and find solutions together to overcome issues.
