Life is hard. So many of us struggle with issues related to anxiety, depression, and addiction making life even harder. Feelings of inadequacy and hopelessness are so common, leaving us overthinking and full of self-doubt. Fortunately, those distressing thoughts and feelings don’t have to be permanent. You are capable of developing emotional resilience and self-confidence to enable you to thrive in this chaotic world. You are worthy of good things.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will discuss what your goals are and what you are hoping to gain out of therapy. I will share a little bit about my treatment style and will ask some questions regarding your background and what you are hopeful for in the future. We will discuss what you are comfortable with. My goal is to help you embrace and understand yourself to promote personal growth, resilience, and provide a sense of contentment. It feels so good to be confident and content, and you deserve to feel that way. I know that starting therapy can feel daunting, but I am here to provide non-judgmental support in a safe space.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I specialize in helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, substance use, and various life stressors. My therapeutic approach comes from an understanding that we are shaped by life experiences, relationships, and culture. I integrate each individual's uniqueness into therapy from a person-centered and solution-focused approach. I utilize different modalities to fit your specific needs including cognitive behavioral, existential, and motivational interviewing techniques.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

If you had tried therapy before with little progress, I can understand your skepticism. However, one of my strengths is finding success with individuals who have yet to find it in therapy before. Whether or not you have been in therapy, I strive to ensure you are getting something out of your investment in our time together.
