Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up on the West Coast, in Oregon and California. I earned my Master's from San Diego State University and have provided therapeutic services for 12 years. I meet clients where they are in life to help guide and support them in accomplishing their therapeutic goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I am here to provide expert support and tailored therapy services. You are the expert in your life, and I will work with you to find the best solutions. Through a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques, I offer personalized and effective support. During the first session, we will review the intake form and conduct depression and anxiety assessments. These tools allow you to privately express your genuine concerns, provide some background on your life, and share where you would like to be at the end of therapy. We will also develop a safety plan as needed. If the initial session is for couples or families, I will spend time speaking with each member individually. This is to ensure that all perspectives are heard and understood, and to screen for safety concerns. Your unique experiences and viewpoints are essential.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Through my unique blend of personal and professional experiences, I have cultivated a deep understanding of human nature. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment for exploring life's endless possibilities and achieving genuine self-awareness.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

Depending on the client's needs, I implement techniques from Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies.

Narrative

Explore the story we develop through our lives. We make more helpful and accurate adjustments while developing an understanding of the words and stories we use.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Sometimes, going back in time is not the most helpful, so this technique allows us to start in the present and how we move forward with the issues directly in front of us.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts impact how we behave, and how we behave affects our thoughts. We work together to adjust one to impact the other so that they are aligned with what we need in life.
