Hello! Hi! I'm a licensed therapist with 11 years of expertise and experience providing services in California and Michigan. I received my Masters from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I help young adults, adults and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, fatigue and any one of a variety of other challenges. Clients who engage in sessions realize less worry, sadness and stress. The goal is for you to have an improved experience of living and better relationships with yourself and others.

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then address the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I have unconditional regard for you and I am sincerely committed to helping you meet your goals in treatment.

I have successfully been providing quality treatment to clients and their families from widely divergent socioeconomic, gender, religious, and diagnostic backgrounds. I effectively adjust my treatment approach and tone depending on the your issues and needs and any relevant familial or environment situation currently impacting them. I'm astute at rapidly building the therapeutic bond and then clearly identifying mutually arrived at treatment goals with a concrete measurable plan.

I enjoy working with adolescents, adult individuals and couples and have worked with a very diverse population. I provide a safe, respectful, non-judgmental and supportive space to assist you in addressing the challenges of your life experiences past and present, relationships, current stressors, and life transitions. You will gain skills and tools for use in better managing your mood, energy, and relationships. My goal is to assist you in reporting and processing your thoughts and feelings to improve your sense of peace and be the best version of yourself as you continue your life’s journey.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I'm experienced in using CBT to assist in reducing depression, anxiety and trauma. CBT is very effective in learning how thoughts, feelings and behavior are connected and gaining skills and tools to reduce sadness, worry and fatigue. Clients report improved energy, outlook and more positive experience of living due to use of CBT!

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Many of my clients have found DBT to be helpful in increasing mindfulness and improving ability to manage stress and distress, regulate emotions and improve communication. Learning how to participate more fully in the present is beneficial to better connection with ourselves and others.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have unconditional regard and respect for my clients and seek to assist you in finding your very best path to improve your relationship with yourself and others.

Couples Counseling

I have worked with many couples to address issues such as poor communication, intimacy, loss of connection, and a number of other issues that occur in longterm relationships.
