Hello! My name is Natacha and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Are you at a point in your life where you're finding you need to try something new to change a circumstance? Maybe counseling has been something you've been thinking about, something that has been recommended to you, or something that you've always been curious about. Whatever it is that got you here, my goal in therapy is to meet you where you are and help get you to a place where you can start to implement changes that apply to the above and more.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will introduce each other, and go over the logistics of how the sessions will look like. It is expected that all paperwork will be completed prior to the first session so as not to disrupt introductions and delay services. I will then conduct an assessment, followed by a discussion of your goals in therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have experience working with clients ages 5-70 yo in different settings. I enjoy working on managing mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem building, and stress management, among other presenting issues. Note that I will always communicate any additional recommendations throughout our work together.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with young professionals and helping those going through any transitions in their life. Through all of life's ups and downs, I like to be able to help enhance these challenges by providing supports, solution focused interventions and the tools to help manage symptoms and emotions during that time.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

While I am versed in different treatment methods and no one client and presenting issues are the same, nor require the same method, I find that I implement solution-focused approaches to help clients identify appropriate and healthy solutions and coping skills to manage a presenting problem.
