Hello there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and earned my Master's degree from Indiana University in 2018. I have been practicing for six years, primarily with system-involved individuals with complex trauma experiences. I work with adults who have a trauma history and are seeking EMDR to treat traumatic and adverse experiences. Additionally, I have a passion for supporting other helpers manage and cope with burnout, vicarious trauma, and secondary traumatic stress.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will explore your concerns and how they impact your life, work/school, and relationships. Additionally, we will review any questions about practice policies, confidentiality, privacy, treatment approach, and service fees.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I deeply value collaboration and honoring the lived experiences I bring into the healing space as we journey toward your healing, together. This is relational work and we must share feedback and adjust our work together to meet your treatment needs.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I deeply value co-create healing spaces with you to develop the capacity for introspection, value processing experiences to better understand themselves, and are seeking alignment and changes that promote the expansion of self-compassion, self-love, and self-empowerment.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am a trained EMDR (2019) practitioner working towards certification. I utilize EMDR to reprocess adverse and traumatic experiences, reduce symptoms of emotional overwhelm and increase connection seeking to heal from relational wounding.

Polyvagal Therapy

Polyvagal-informed psychoeducation is foundational to my practice due to the self-empowering knowledge and understanding the role of the nervous system and brain-body connection has in trauma healing.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I utilized Mindfulness based interventions to develop and enhance a felt sense of intrapersonal safety necessary for healing.

Interpersonal

Understanding the intrapersonal and interpersonal dynamics of past/current/future relational dynamics is central to healing attachment based woundings.
