I appreciate you making time for yourself today. At times, life can be more challenging than we believe we can handle but I’m here to help! I have assisted individuals who experience difficulty in life transitions, school/peer issues, anxiety, and depression, to learn, gain clarity, and overcome their challenges. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, based in New York, for the past 5 years. I have experience with all ages from childhood through to adulthood. I'm looking forward to helping you find your strengths and overcome your challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together will start with gathering background information, learning about the specific challenges that brought you in, and creating the goals you want to work on. In our continued work together, I will assist you in developing the necessary skills to overcome your challenges, explore how these challenges shape your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and assist you in finding ways to take action toward a more peaceful life. Even if you don’t believe things can get better as you’re reading this, let’s get you your strength back!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive for an environment where my compassion, active listening, and strength-building allow for clients to feel supported in a judgment-free space. I work with each client collaboratively for an individualized approach to assist you in getting back your strength and overcoming your challenges.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In applying ACT, I help clients learn ways to focus on the present moment, learn mental flexibility, and work towards the change you want to experience. What actions would help you bring more peace into your life?

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In applying CBT I help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns and explore impact on emotions and behaviors. How can changing the way you think bring more peace into your life?
