I am passionate about helping women navigate difficulties in their lives including parenting, marriage, and work/life balance. I also have over 15 years of experience helping high school students as a school counselor. I have certifications in School Counseling Leadership, Anxiety & Stress Management, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. I'm fully licensed in the state of IL and in the process of reinstating my Mo. license.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will get a history of you and who you are as a whole person in each area of your life. We will talk about what is bringing you to therapy and create a treatment plan together that is suited around your goals and hope for the future outcome.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am open-minded, warm, empathetic, patient, and a good listener.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Together, we will focus on how your thoughts affect your emotions and behaviors. If you are open to "homework," I love to provide resources to work on in between sessions. If you do not have time for this, don't worry, we will do a lot of work within your sessions.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In SFBT we will focus on future-oriented and goal-oriented interviewing techniques that will help you "build solutions."

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

With DBT, we will focus on helping you accept the reality of your current life situations and your unhelpful behaviors, as well as helping you learn to change your life.
