Thank you for visiting my page. Deciding to embark on the path of healing can be challenging, and I applaud you for taking the first step. I work with young adults seeking to address concerns related to relationships, infidelity, self-esteem, and commitment issues. I offer a safe and supportive space for exploring these complex issues. My goal is to help folks develop the skills they need to navigate life's challenges with confidence. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, social anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, or relationship issues, I am here to help you create a more fulfilling life. I invite you to reach out.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As a therapist, my orientation is a joining of Motivational Interviewing and Psychodynamically informed approaches (e.g., Object Relations, Attachment Theory, Self Psychology, etc.). I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and explore core concerns such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, parenting, PTSD, grief, and more. Taking the first step in therapy can feel overwhelming and challenging, but I'm here to be a fellow traveler on your journey and a support person in your corner. I offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. Together, we can work to help you live a more fulfilling life. Please don't hesitate to call today!

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

What you bring forward will determine what approaches will be utilized in the sessions. For example, if we're looking at your circumstances from an Attachment Theory perspective, together we may consider what your attachment style(s) is (e.g., avoidant, ambivalent, preoccupied, etc.) and then from there further explore how this impacts your daily life and/or relationships. Furthermore, if we were to look at your concerns from an Object Relations perspective, it may be appropriate to consider concepts or phenomena such as Projective Identification, Object Constancy, bad objects, introjection, and themes of abandonment to name a few.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

What I believe that I can provide for a client is patience, compassion, and understanding. With me, there will be no need to rush to the right answer or to feel pressure to arrive at a destination before you are ready. I aim to get to the root of what causes you pain or distress, not to simply focus on your symptoms.
