Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Georgia. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Georgia and have been practicing for 7 years. I have advanced-level training in both the treatment of traumatic stress and gender and sexuality-related issues. I goal is to help young adults struggling with their gender identity, sexual orientation, experiences of trauma, and interpersonal relationship issues to become the best versions of themselves and have richer more fulfilling relationships.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I segment our first section into three parts. In part 1, we'll introduce ourselves, giving you time to ask any questions you may have about me, my credentials, and my approach to therapy. In part 2, we'll talk a bit about the specific challenges you're facing and your goals for therapy. Finally, in part 3, we will begin creating a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Having worked with young adults for the past 7 years, I've developed a reliable approach to helping you (a) develop a safe and comfortable space for self-exploration and development, (2) identify the root cause of your challenges, and (3) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
