Has life thrown overwhelming challenges at you? If you're suffering from anxiety, depression, loneliness, or general life transitions - my goal is to help you understand that your experiences are valid and worth addressing. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will discuss general policies for our time and I will gather more information about your presenting issues. My goal on the first appointment is also to build rapport and ensure that we are a good personality fit for each other. Without a good rapport and alliance, it may become difficult to discuss hard truths and uncomfortable topics as time goes on, so getting to know each other is a priority for me and hopefully for you too.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in the behavioral health field for over 10 years, I have been able to have a diverse set of clients with a diverse set of presenting issues. What makes me unique is that I focus on going slowly as we get to know each other. I want to ensure that as we discuss really difficult topics we are taking time to learn grounding techniques to help navigate the intense emotions that may come up as a result of sharing. I also take the time to send book suggestions, trackers, helpful videos, and journal prompts if necessary.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I prefer to use a variety of treatment methods with my clients. I have received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). "One shoe does not fit all" so I like to take time to get to know my client and have a true understanding of their needs before committing to one specific modality or treatment intervention.
