I am a board-Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I received a Bachelor's degree in Human Development/Education from Lesley College and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. My experience includes advocacy work for children and families, parenting education groups, family education assemblies on substance abuse as well as individual and group therapy in community mental health settings and in private practice. I have also worked with individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders in residential/inpatient settings and partial hospitalization programs. I have a particular interest in working with those who suffer from Anxiety, Depression, personality disorders OCD, Bipolar Disorder, substance/behavioral addictions, parenting challenges, and those experiencing difficult life transitions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to feel supported, encouraged and empowered after sessions. My goal is for clients to gain insight into themselves, their own strength, resilience and innate health.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Insight Oriented Therapy and faith-based therapy.

I am well versed in traditional therapeutic methods as well as more creative techniques. I strive to build connection and therapeutic rapport while giving my clients the tools they need to succeed.
