I graduated from Santa Clara University with a master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Correctional Psychology. I currently provide remote psychotherapy services to high-functioning, low-acuity individuals (no couples, minors or family therapy) over the age of 18 with a readiness for self-exploration, gaining awareness, trying out new skills, challenging thoughts and who like a therapist with compassion and some playfulness and humor. I am a certified YTT200 Yoga Instructor and a Certified Mindfulness Informed Practitioner (CMIP).

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I require a 15 minute consultation call prior to booking and the intake forms and assessment are to be filled out prior to the first session for expediency. I review them prior to the session to make sure that we are a good fit. I also highly encourage clients to read my profile prior to booking sessions too! We will go over your history in more detail as it is relevant to your mental health and what is bringing you into counseling and create your therapy goals and discuss your treatment plan. We will get to know one another! You may be referred to another provider or for medication management if appropriate.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a clinician, I strive to adapt and change the care and treatment I provide clients to meet their individual needs. Being flexible is one of the most important attributes of a professional counselor. I aim to treat each client with respect and dignity and relate to and understand clients regardless of their race, ethnicity, religious or political beliefs or socioeconomic background. I ask for and illicit feedback at the end of each session to empower the client and work collaboratively towards client goals. By taking feedback, I can tweak my my methods of care and tweak it for each individual. We are a team working towards your mental health goals together.
