You are a driven and ambitious high achieving individual who finds yourself constantly overwhelmed and stressed. You feel like your mind is always racing, juggling multiple responsibilities, and struggling to find a work-life balance. You may also feel trapped sometimes, with the inability or hesitancy to say no. Whether it’s the weight of past traumas, the inability to stick to boundaries, or the demands of daily life, you end up getting lost in the chaos. There’s a fear of failure or disappointing yourself or others. You feel isolated or like an imposter. Many of us are unaware of how our upbringing is really walking around with us every day. I empower you to understand your mind/body connection so that you can gain insight into the things that may not be serving you and how you can make those healthy/effective adjustments to your daily life. I help you to explore your past and how it’s impacting you in the present. We identify patterns/cycles, increase self-worth, and improve relationship dynamics.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We go at your pace. I provide some psychoeducation up front, so that you can learn various terms related to what we're doing and you can remember them as a part of your toolkit.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are working with adults 25+ who experience symptoms of anxiety, trauma, abandonment, work stress, relationship issues (including romantic, friendships, or family), adjustment issues, or life transitions. I also love working with immigrants, 1st gens, or 2nd gens, while navigating life in two or more cultures.

My treatment methods

Somatic

This is a primary method of mine. I utilize Somatic Experiencing to help you understand your body and why it responds or reacts the way that it does. I help guide and provide you with various tools to help you release stress, shock, or trauma from your body.

Brainspotting

This is a primary method of mine. I utilize this to help you get to the root of emotional or body pain quicker, through your field of vision. It works differently and faster than traditional talk therapy.

Structural Family Therapy

This is a primary method of mine. It is simultaneously integrated with the other primary methods. I utilize this along with my education/training in overall Systemic Therapy, which means that I work with you on your various relationships in your life to help you understand how they have/are impacting you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This is a secondary method. I utilize this for helping you to have practical and everyday tools of understanding behaviors.
