What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions to build rapport, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is that I stress the importance of being personable. In order to build rapport, I feel it is important to be welcoming, understanding, and empathetic. My goal is to create a trusting and supportive therapeutic alliance. I specialize in Trauma and PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, Relationship/Interpersonal Issues, Family Conflict, Grief and Loss.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

By using DBT interventions, My goal is to strike a balance between validation (acceptance) of who you are and your challenges and the benefits of change. By using mindfulness, emotional regukation, interpersonal effectiveness, and ditress tolerance skills you will achieve improved overall functioning.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is used to help you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Interpersonal

IPT focuses on relieving symptoms by improving interpersonal functioning. It addresses current problems and relationships rather than childhood or developmental issues.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Culturally sensitive care is an approach to healthcare delivery that recognizes and respects the unique cultural background of each patient. It acknowledges the impact of culture on a person's beliefs, values, customs, and lifestyle.

Trauma Informed Care

The intention of Trauma-Informed Care is not to treat symptoms or issues related to sexual, physical or emotional abuse or any other form of trauma but rather to provide support services in a way that is accessible and appropriate to those who may have experienced trauma.
