Do you walk through your day feeling anxious and worried? Do you feel disconnected from your relationships or unable to pinpoint the feelings that keep holding you back in your life? Racing thoughts, panic attacks, social anxiety, relationship insecurity. My clients come to me seeking relief from anxiety and relationship difficulties that cause them to feel like they’re stuck repeating the same mistakes and getting the same results. If you are tired of feeling like you’re living your life out of a series of habits and survival then you’ve taken an important step and I’d like to work with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll start with a brief introduction and examine your specific challenges. From there we'll collaborate on some Tx plan goals to aim for and I'll suggest the ways we could work together to reach those goals.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize several treatment methods based on the best fit for the client. I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which aims to identify where our thinking has become distorted and learn how to train our brain to be more productive with issues. I focus on experiential and relational therapy with the aim to bring awareness to how issues are manifesting in the present to increase effective coping tools and self-regulation. I offer EMDR to address trauma and PTSD. I also utilize skill building within most issues being treated.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My history is in treating anxiety, relationship issues, and substance-related issues. I excel at tailoring treatment to the individual's needs. Our sessions will always be a mix of goal-driven and process-driven work. Goals are important in therapy because we want to know if we're making progress, but many things can't be measured in these terms. Process-driven work is significant in building insight, awareness, and experience in establishing healthy communication patterns.
