What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During our first session together we will start with brief introduction. I will ask you a lot of questions about yourself, why you are seeking treatment, how you cope, and your symptoms (it's basically an interview). We will also chat about goals for therapy, expectations, and more. I will answer any and all questions you may have.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
As a therapist, I believe my greatest strengths are empathy and being understanding. I am warm, kind, and attentive. Unconditional positive regard, is high on my list of priorities, when interacting with you. I seek to rid stigmas and to do away with labels. We are greater, together! Easy dialogue, cognitive behavior therapy and talk therapy are typically my approaches. I seek to make therapy easy. I walk alongside you during your journey and equip you with the tools and resources you need to empower yourself. I create a safe space and we work as a team to overcome any challenges and uncertainties you may have. You have taken the first step. I look forward to working with you!
