What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will discuss your motivation for seeking professional help now. I will gather your personal history in order to understand your current challenges and your strengths. Afterwards, we will develop your personal treatment goals. Being vulnerable with another person can be a bit scary for some of us, so you set the pace of our journey together.

In working with diverse populations, I have learned to meet people where they are at and recognize the strengths that they already possess. Fostering a sense of hope for the future is essential in helping anyone move forward and make lasting changes in their lives. My strength as a therapist is in helping empower you to see this hope and maximize and build upon your strengths.
