Howdy! I'm Nicole, and I would love to have the chance to work with you. I have Master's degrees in Counseling and Religious Studies so I can incorporate spiritual guidance into counseling if you would like(completely optional). I have training in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and worked previously as a hospital chaplain which was an incredible experience. "You shall know Your truth, and it shall set you free." Let's renew your heart and mind to help you live more abundantly. I truly believe that everyone can improve themselves, find healing, and live a more fulfilling life with the right tools, honesty and openness, the willingness to make necessary changes, and a non-judgmental, compassionate environment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will do my best to earn your trust by providing a warm, open, completely non-judgemental environment. We will start by doing a comprehensive intake to assess your current needs and strengths. From there, I will help you look at yourself deeply and honestly, develop skills and new perspectives to help you change any unhelpful thought patterns, reduce anxiety, and develop new behaviors to help you live a better life. I utilize a variety of techniques in order to help my clients return to the truest form of themselves - happy, accepting, loving, and free.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients have told me that they find me easy-going, caring, honest, insightful, and even funny. Feel free to give me a call or send me a message on here. Let's journey together.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I employ many modes of therapy. A few I really like to use include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive behavioral therapy, Rogerian, and Motivational Interviewing. With Acceptance and Commitment therapy, I'll teach you how to acknowledge and accept whatever you're feeling, remind yourself it's okay to feel it, and then work on strategies to help you manage those emotions. I appreciate modes of therapy that help you grow in self-awareness and mindfulness.
