Hi, I'm Brooke. As your therapist, my focus is on helping you navigate positive changes in your life. Therapy, in my view, is about taking a practical step when things feel a bit off. Together, let's cut through the noise and work towards you feeling better and creating the life you envision.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, my primary focus is on getting to know you and understanding what has led you to seek therapy. We'll dive into your goals, exploring what has and hasn't worked for you in the past. Together, we'll start brainstorming fresh ideas and strategies to help you move towards the positive changes you're aiming for. It's a collaborative process, and your comfort and goals are at the forefront of our conversation.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients often share that my non-judgmental and approachable demeanor creates a comfortable space for them. With a wealth of experience across diverse populations, I've heard a wide array of experiences, making me a provider who isn't easily surprised. I firmly believe that we're all navigating life the best we can, and my strength lies in offering acceptance and understanding to support you on your unique journey.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR and use it to help client process trauma and to help them deal with symptoms of anxiety and depression

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to look at a client's self-talk and help them challenge unhelpful thought patterns

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I really incorporate acceptance into my treatment, especially when it comes to anxiety. Accepting things we can't change can have a lot of power.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I use this sometimes for client's that have specific fears or strong anxiety.
