I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. I received my Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and additional training for my Christian Counseling certification from Light University. I combine my mental health training, to help you understand your symptoms, with God's Word, to help you receive hope and healing from the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I like to hear about what brings you in for counseling, and your back story of how you got to where you are today. This can include talking about your support system, school/career, culture, faith background, etc. Getting to know you and what brings you in, will help me to better understand how we can work together on your goals for counseling.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are that I am a very attentive listener and I am a powerful prayer warrior. I pray for each of my clients before sessions to help me to be best equipped to help them during sessions.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I primarily work with teens and women who would like to incorporate their faith into counseling sessions. A person's faith plays such a key role in how they see the world. Looking at mental health through the lens of faith can bring such clarity on how to work through common concerns like anxiety, depression, anger, grief, self-esteem, etc. can help to
